I specialize in a kind of casual portraiture that I think is becoming a new popular genre. I don't have a studio. I don't even have lighting equipment, though I intend to buy some when I've raised enough money for it. If you want head-shots of little Jimmy in front of a waterfall backdrop, I'm not your photographer. But if you want photos of him playing on the slip'n'slide at his birthday party, that I'm happy to do. I love working events, parties, and gatherings. You pay me for my time there and what you'll see during that time is me floating around, making friends with people, snapping photos of what's going on without making myself a center of attention. Within two weeks of the end of our session, I provide you with a disc of your photos and a release so you can have prints made wherever and as often as you wish. I can of course also do some normal on-site portrait photo work if you like. But blending in with the action at a location allows me to capture unique, one of a kind moments for you to enjoy later.

I also love doing creative portraiture. I'm more than happy to take your standard couples portraits, against a brick wall, in front of flowers, whatever you want. I do have a knack for making people look good. But if you want to bring some personality in, I'm more than game! Bring props! Dress up! Have ideas? Let's talk about them.

Basically, I'm here to provide you with a completely individual photographic record of you and the people in your life. If it stands just a little out of the box photographers have put themselves in for years... I'm the person for your job.
