I’ve had the pleasure of working with Thomas and his wife on several occasions. They photographed my luau themed baby shower, did a separate maternity shoot and came back for post-birth photos when my baby was 5 weeks old.

Although the shower was a huge event, they still managed to capture practically all of the guests that were present with absolutely fantastic candid photos. Thomas’ love of child photography really stood out with those photos, and I was “forced” to get additional prints of many of the children in attendance for their parents. When we met several weeks later for a more private maternity shoot, I was pleased with how accommodating Thomas was. Although certainly chock-a-block full of his own ideas, he was also more than willing to give my particular requests a try, and would work with those suggestions until they became exactly what I was looking for. Our last session was a marathon shoot with a 5 week old baby, which seems on the surface like a nightmare waiting to happen, but this is where the husband/wife duo really shone. While Thomas was suggesting poses and snapping both posed and candid photos like a mad man, his wife expertly handled my newborn baby, moved us into the appropriate poses and even ran a (calming) vacuum when necessary! I have so many cherished photos from these shoots that it was hard to pick just a few to frame. (Thank goodness for scrapbooks.)

I found Thomas to have a very calming presence as a photographer, which really allows the subject to relax and enjoy the shoot (Particularly if the subject is one camera shy husband.), while his wife is just incredibly personable and instantly puts you at ease. And lest I forget the most important part…the photos that this duo takes are simply fantastic. I am consistently amazed with the quality of their photography. I can’t wait for our 6 month baby session!
